Pentagon, which is an anthology of five stories, is directed by Raghu Shivamogga, Chandra Mohan, Guru Deshpande and Kiran Kumar. Pritika Deshpande, wife of director and producer Guru Deshpande, is making her debut as an actress with the Pentagon. Her look in the movie has been revealed by the team on the occasion of her birthday. 

Pritika will be seen in the story directed by Kiran Kumar. Director and producer Guru Deshpande says, “Although, Pritika has been working indirectly for over 15 years in the film industry and despite me directing many films, Pritika was inspired by the character and decided to foray into Sandalwood. The story which is set in the mid 1980s has been shot in and around Sakleshpur. P Ravishankar, Vamshi Krishna, Abhilash and Anusha Rai will be seen in prominent roles in the movie.” Manikant Khadri has composed the music.

A theme motion poster of Pentagon released earlier won appreciation from both critics and the audience alike. The first look of Prakash Belawadi, who plays the lead role in the story directed by Raghu Shivamogga also received appreciation. The makers have completed the shoot of four out of five stories. Another story, which will be helmed by Guru Deshpande, is yet to be shot. The makers are planning to release the film in the last week of September or October, subject to when cinema halls are allowed to open.
