The government has taken seriously the reports of some private hospitals in the Indian state of Punjab recovering more money from Kovid's patients. Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu has warned all such hospitals to cancel their licenses. The minister said that keeping in mind the interests of patients and private hospitals, the state government will soon fix the expenses for the treatment of covid-19.

In his statement, he further said that the government will not allow the exploitation of patients by private hospitals at any cost. In a statement released on Saturday, Sidhu said, "It is a time of calamity, when everyone is fighting for rescue and in such critical times some private hospitals are indiscriminately recovering money from forced and helpless patients."

Apart from this, the Health Minister said that the case of charging more money by private hospitals for the treatment of Kovid's patients was brought to his attention. He said, "It is very sad that instead of making a positive contribution in the fight against the epidemic, some private hospitals are looting the patients, which will not be allowed at any cost." These hospitals were provided with the government The land has the right to be withdrawn at very discounted rates. At the same time, the minister has called a special meeting on Monday to decide the treatment fees for Kovid's patients. He said that all sides will be taken into consideration. He said that we do not want to cause any financial loss to private hospitals, but we will not allow them to loot at any cost.
