In a thrilling sting operation done by ABP News three private secretaries to Uttar Pradesh ministers caught on camera seeking bribe right inside the secretariat building in Lucknow. This is prompting a speedy action from the State Government which ordered an investigation against the officials. The Chief Secretary has sought a detailed report by 11 am tomorrow in this regard.

Worth mention here the secretaries who were caught on camera asking for money in exchange of getting work done.  These are UP Minister of State for Mining, Excise, and Prohibition Archana Pandey, Backward Classes Welfare Minister Om Praksh Rajbhar and UP Minister of State for Education Sandeep Singh.

It is noted that Santosh Awasthi, the secretary to Sandeep Singh, was caught asking for 'appropriate share' in return for books' agreement in UP schools, while S P Tripathi secretary to Archana Pandey was caught asserting  that in a mining contract in Saharanpur there is a chance of 100 per cent loot.

After this revelation, the Bharatiya Janata Party stated that strict action will be taken against those caught in the bribery sting.  It also assured that the party works on 'zero tolerance' on corruption and a speedy action will be taken against accused.

UP Minister Archana Pandey, whose private secretary was caught in bribery sting opertaion, said that a investigation will be ordered in the issue and action will be taken against the official if found at fault.
