Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh (east), Priyanka Gandhi vote at a polling booth in Lodhi Estate along with her husband Robert Vadra on Sunday. With confidence Priyanka said that the BJP-led NDA government was on its way out.

After casting her vote, Priyanka said it was a fight to protect democracy. Priyanka said that People are angry and distressed and they will show their anger through their ballot. it is amply clear that the BJP was about to face defeat in the Lok Sabha Elections.

Congress general secretary, said, "There is anger among people, and they are under distress. Modiji, instead of talking about real issues, has been talking about random things. And, now, they will express their anger against this government through voting.”

It is "very clear that the BJP government is going", she added. She said the sentiment will be clearly visible in Uttar Pradesh.

Priyanka further said, “It's a really important election because we are fighting to save democracy, for our country, and keeping that in mind I cast my vote.”
