Lucknow: The National General Secretary of the Congress Party, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has accused the Uttar Pradesh government of harassing the common people. A delegation of Uttar Pradesh Congress today met UP Governor Anandi Ben Patel and demanded a judicial inquiry into the police action taken against those opposing CAA-NRC.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, while addressing a press conference in Lucknow today, said that the action of the Uttar Pradesh government is barbaric when it speaks against the Citizenship Amendment Act. He said that the UP police is working on the revengeful statement of CM Yogi Adityanath. Priyanka demanded the release of the arrested youth and social workers during this period. Along with this, he also demanded a stay on the process of sealing the assets without any court action.
