New Delhi: Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has reacted sharply after a video of police brutality with students at Jamia Milia University surfaced. Priyanka Gandhi tweeted that "See how the Delhi Police is indiscriminately beating the students studying. A boy is showing the book, but the policemen are beating sticks."

Priyanka Gandhi further wrote that "The Home Minister and Delhi Police officials lied that they did not beat anyone by entering the library." After watching this video, if no action is taken on the violence in Jamia, the intention of the government will come to the forefront of the country completely. A video related to vandalism has been released by the Jamia Coordination Committee.

In this video, the police is seen beating the student present in the library. The committee claims that the video is from December 15, 2019. He says that during the CAA Protest, the police entered the library and lashed sticks at the students studying. In the released video, students are seen studying in the library. It can be seen in the video how the police suddenly enter the library and start beating the students present there.
