Lucknow: The Congress today released its manifesto 'Unnati Vidhana' for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was present on the occasion. The Congress says that the manifesto has been prepared by party veterans Salman Khurshid and PL Punia among the people. This is the third part of the Congress manifesto. The Congress claims that its leaders have understood the problems of the people and have included them in the manifesto. Earlier, the Congress party had issued manifestos in the name of 'Youth Legislation' for Youth and 'Shakti Vidhana' for Women.

As promised in the current Congress manifesto, the entire debt of farmers will be waived within 10 days of forming the government, wheat paddy in Rs 2500- and sugarcane for Rs 400 will be purchased, along with the outstanding electricity bill waived. Congress has promised in its manifesto that 25 thousand rupees will be given to the family who is suffering the financial impact of Corona. 20 million government jobs will be given. Women will be given 40 per cent reservation in jobs. Congress has promised that up to Rs 10 lakh will be given free treatment.  

At the same time, a compensation of 3 thousand has been promised for the damage caused by the stray animal. Congress has said that under the Go Dhan scheme, it will buy cow dung at Rs 2 per kg, give affordable housing to the middle class, give a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to covid warriors who have lost their lives during corona.   After releasing the manifesto, Priyanka Gandhi said that Congress has not put suggestions of other parties in its manifesto-like the other party.
