Lucknow: In view of the increasing cases of Corona, CM Yogi has issued a total lockdown order every Saturday and Sunday in UP. On this decision of Yogi government, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has targeted CM Yogi Adityanath. Priyanka has said that the logic of the 'Baby Pack' lockdown on weekend is still not understood by anyone. The practice continues to hide its failure.
Priyanka Vadra has shared the Corona figures of the last three days in her tweet. According to the data, Corona cases in the last three days are 1347 cases were reported on 10 July, 1403 on 11 July, and 1388 cases on 12 July. Earlier Samajwadi Party (SP) National President and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav had advised to implement four working days a week in view of the spread of Corona infection.
The SP chief had said on Sunday that instead of implementing the lockdown at the end of the week in view of the spread of corona infection, the government should implement a system of four working days a week and it should remain in place for a long time. Yogi Adityanath government of UP has decided to lockdown the last two days of the week i.e. every Saturday and Sunday for effective control over infection with the coronavirus. CM Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that all markets will be opened from Monday to Friday in view of infection with the coronavirus. There will be a weekly lockout on Saturday and Sunday.
