Lucknow: Opposition parties are also coming forward to cooperate with the government amidst the crying epidemic. Even though the ideology of the parties is different, but in this time of crisis, all the parties are busy in reaching out to the needy. On Friday, the Congress party's national general secretary and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi, sent one lakh masks to the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

Giving information about the Congress party's media convenor, Lalan Kumar, he said that Priyanka Gandhi has already supplied ration, medicines in many districts before sending one lakh masks. From Saturday, Congress workers will distribute masks to the general public. He told that under the supervision of Priyanka Gandhi, many WhatsApp groups are also being operated, through which help is being provided to the people.

It was informed from the Congress party that kitchens are being run for the needy in 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Agra, Fatehpur, Lakhimpur, Prayagraj, to help the people. Ration is also being distributed to the poor people. The Congress claims that so far about 47 lakh people have been provided ration and food in the state. Assistance has been extended to 4 lakh migrant laborers and the needy in various states of the country from the Congress party.
