San Francisco: Hundreds of pro-Khalistan supporters demonstrated in front of the San Francisco Indian Embassy. The demonstrators chanted anti-Punjab chants in opposition to the continuing search for "Waris Punjab De" leader Amritpal Singh.

After India rebuke, the UK becomes aware of Khalistani vandalism and ensures the protection of the Indian High Commission.

As Indian officials took down Khalistani flags from the consulate's grounds, a video of Khalistani militants attacking the Indian consulate in San Francisco has surfaced.

Many pro-Khalistan demonstrators demonstrated in front of the San Francisco Indian Embassy. The demonstrators chanted anti-Punjab chants in opposition to the continuing search for "Waris Punjab De" leader Amritpal Singh.

The attack seemed to be well planned. Hours earlier, the Indian High Commission in London too was targetted by the Khalistani supporters.

Following the removal of Khalistani flags from the consulate office and their return to the demonstrators, some miscreants attempted to attack the Indian officials in a video that has gone viral. They stormed the consulate, destroyed windows, and made violent attempts to enter the door.

The phrase "Release Amritpal" was spray-painted on the consulate's walls by the hooligans.

What is  surprising is the want of security around the Indian mission, which allowed the Khalistan supporters to run amok at the premises.

Amritpal and his Waris Punjab De were the target of a significant raid by the Punjab government on Saturday, during which time the police detained 78 members of the group. Yet once his cavalcade was stopped in the Jalandhar district, the preacher managed to escape their dragnet. As the Khalistan supporter was still on the run late Sunday night, the extreme preacher's uncle and driver turned themselves in to the police in Jalandhar.
