Sara and Kartik kicked off the shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal and soon, rumours of their relationship started coming in. However, much to Sara and Kartik’s fans disappointment, their relationship didn’t work out and reports of their break up were out in media. The two were last seen together in Karan Johar's office on the occasion of Diwali. On this occasion, both of them took pictures without any hesitation. After this Sara and Kartik became busy in their films. For now, the two will be seen together once again because now the promotion of their upcoming film 'Aaj Kal' is going to start.

A source close to the production house said, "The film makers want to promote this film made under the direction of Imtiaz Ali in different cities across India." Since there is no bitterness between Sara and Kartik even after the breakup, they will feel free to promote the film together in all the cities. For the information, let us tell that since Sara and Kartik could not spend time together, both decided to part ways.

. The film will be released on the occasion of Valentines Day in 2020. Apart from this film, Sara Ali Khan will appear in 'Coolie No.1' alongside Varun Dhawan. Kartik Aryan's 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' on the other hand is set for release and he is busy shooting for his films 'Dostana 2' and 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2'.
