People came to streets of Delhi against Citizen Amendment Bill

New Delhi: The citizenship bill has been stamped after passing the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha a few days ago. Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act have been going on throughout the country. On Sunday i.e. 15 December 2019, a large number of people protested against the citizenship law in Okhla Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi.

If sources are to be believed, many shopkeepers in the vicinity have also closed their shops out of fear. Seeing the anger of the people who came out to protest on the street, the people of the nearby markets have been frightened. There is a huge jam on the road too. Every type of vehicle, small and big, is stuck in the jam. In Jamia Millia Islamia University, the students had strongly opposed this law, after which the police lathi-charged on them.

According to the information, it has been learned that this morning, the university management gave a clarification that the protest was done outside the university campus and a large number of external elements were involved in it.
