Balochistan: According to reports, educational activities at Balochistan University were once again interrupted on Thursday as students resumed their protest over the disappearance of two students, accusing the government of failing to deliver on its commitment to retrieve the two students.

Following the disappearance of Sohail and Faseeh Baloch a few days ago, students began protesting on November 7. Days later, on November 9 (Tuesday), as negotiations with the authorities failed, students from various factions of the Baloch Student Organisation (BSO) locked the varsity's gates and declared that no one would take the semester exams and that their protest would continue until the duo was found, according to the report.

The students, on the other hand, had called a halt to their protest on Saturday after receiving guarantees from the government that the missing students would be found by Tuesday. The government committee has now requested additional three to four days, according to Baloch Student Organisation (BSO) Secretary-General Balach Qadir Baloch, in "disregard of their prior pledge to recover the missing students by November 16." The government has set up a committee to look at student difficulties and provide recommendations.
