The outlet, however, was launched in the year 2019 by a pair of two siblings named Shiwang Sood and Shika Sood. The idea came to both minds and after that both became famous. Talking to a website, 27-year-old Shivang Sood said, "When we were younger, the mother used to make kheer for us. Our whole family loved it with great gusto. In the year 2017, my sister, Shika, was bored with kheer, so she decided to put a spoon of nutella and orio in her kheer bowl and she found the kheer very tasty.''

He further said, "at the behest of Shika, the mother started making kheer by adding gulkanda and brownie. Both of them began to come to the house of the flower. Gradually, the mother also started making other flower kheer. The kheer of the mother's hand was very fond of not only our family but also relatives and neighbours.''

He further said, "I was already running a sports startup. In the meantime, the idea came in the Shika and my mind as to why this kheer should be transported to other people in the city, but from where the money for investment would come, it was a big problem. Then, on May 19, 2017, we started selling a mother's hand-made kheer on a handcart outside Starbucks in Aundh, Pune. I still remember well, with the help of friends on the first day, we sold all the 44 cans of kheer. The next day, the mother made 82 cans, while on the third day 100 coaches were made and all were sold out. Then we planned to expand it. Through marketing and social media, we started branding it." In the meantime, we started getting good response from the customers and the customers started pre-ordering. Today, the kheer of Pune's La Kheer Deli outlet has become famous everywhere.
