Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar has been roped in by the Karnataka government to create awareness about COVID-19 and the importance of being vaccinated against it, even as lockdown continues to be imposed in Karnataka to combat the second wave of the pandemic.

In a video that has been widely shared on social media, Puneeth says, “COVID-19 is a deadly disease, which has caused many deaths around the world. To bring the pandemic under control, we need to follow COVID-appropriate behaviour, like wearing masks, maintaining social distance, sanitising hands regularly and staying indoors.
