Amritsar: In Punjab's district Tarn Taran, a husband killed his wife mercilessly by hitting an iron rod on her head. It is being told that the deceased Gurpreet Kaur was married to Major Singh 18 years ago and they also have 1 son, who is 16 years old. The mother of the deceased Gurpreet Kaur has alleged that her son-in-law often harassed her daughter and whenever she went to meet her daughter, he used to abuse her.

The mother of the deceased said that she stopped going to her daughter's house, but one day a call came that her daughter has died and her husband is the killer. This case has come out from Chahal, village of Tarn Taran, District of Punjab. Kulwinder Kaur, the mother of the deceased, said that the son-in-law killed my daughter. They had been married for 21 years. Just like in every house there was a small fight, but it gets resolved.

The mother of the deceased said that her husband did not do any work and my daughter was spending time with great difficulty. She has never seen happiness since my daughter has been married. She is attacked with an iron rod above on her head. We want justice. Police said that investigation has been started by registering a case under 302.
