Bathinda: A constable of the Punjab traffic police is doing the work while doing his duty that belongs to the Municipal Corporation. Bathinda's roads have been broken from place to place due to heavy rains in the past. There have been pits in them. Now, these two traffic police personnel bring a bucket and shovel in the car from home. After this, wherever the roads appear to be broken or there are pits, they fill it up and fix it there. They are doing this so that people can be saved from accidents.
At the same time, the traffic police constable said that "We have not started this work on seeing anyone or on someone's instructions. Rather, we were seeing that the road's condition had become very bad due to the rains that had taken place in the past. The incidents of the accident were increasing and we have made up our mind that we will not allow this to happen now and when on duty, if we see a road broken or a pit, then we fill it so that the accident does not happen. We will continue to do this even further".
Senior police officials have said that "We will write a letter to Punjab DGP and Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh to honour these two traffic police personnel so that more traffic police personnel will come forward to take inspiration from them".
