Amritsar: Polling has already been held for 117 assembly seats in Punjab, but the political battle in Congress has not stopped. The Congress leader has opened a front against his own party's state president Navjot Singh Siddhoo. Amritsar MP Gurjit Singh Aujla has attacked Sidhu saying his style of speaking and staying away from the public is very dangerous. Gurjit Singh said, "A lot of party workers are dissatisfied with Navjot Singh Sidhu. It is because of them that people are leaving the party.''

Many in the party say that the MP said this because he was not allowed to sit on the vehicle of Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during the election campaign in Amritsar. She had come to campaign for Navjot Singh Sidhu. When he started speaking against the party's high command, he was asked to remain calm till the elections.

Let us tell you that due to Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu, two factions were formed in the Punjab Congress. It was because of this that former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had to walk out of the government. Now, Amarinder is forming a separate party and contesting the elections in alliance with the BJP.
