At the same time, keeping in mind the recommendations of the Health Department, the state government is also considering to implement curfew rules more strictly. While relaxing some of the lockdown, a decision can also be taken to resume the functioning of industries in the state.

There are a total of 130 corona infected patients in the state. 19 in Nawanshahar, 37 in Mohali, 11 in Amritsar, 7 in Hoshiarpur, 7 in Pathankot, 11 in Jalandhar, 10 in Ludhiana, 11 in Mansa, 3 in Ropar, 4 in Moga, 2 in Fatehgarh Sahib, 2 in Faridkot, Barnala. In 2, 1-1 patients are in Sangrur, Muktsar, Patiala and Kapurthala. So far 12 have died. Two patients have been killed in Mohali, two in Amritsar, one in Jalandhar, one in Ropar, two in Ludhiana, one in Pathankot, one in Nawanshahar, one in Barnala and one in Hoshiarpur.
