Curfew or lockdown period can be extended in the Indian state of Punjab. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has given such signs. According to CM, the lockdown should continue in the state, because if it is opened then the infection will spread more. This can increase the crisis.

For your information, let us tell you that the state cabinet will take a decision on its expansion today. There will be discussion on extending the curfew or lockdown period in the state cabinet meeting in the afternoon. It is believed that keeping in view the prevailing conditions and the growing cases of epidemics, the period can be extended till April 30. At the same time, keeping in mind the recommendations of the Health Department, the state government is also considering to implement curfew rules more strictly. While relaxing some of the lockdown, a decision can also be taken to resume the functioning of industries in the state.

There are a total of 130 corona infected patients in the state. 19 in Nawanshahar, 37 in Mohali, 11 in Amritsar, 7 in Hoshiarpur, 7 in Pathankot, 11 in Jalandhar, 10 in Ludhiana, 11 in Mansa, 3 in Ropar, 4 in Moga, 2 in Fatehgarh Sahib, 2 in Faridkot, Barnala. In 2, 1-1 patients are in Sangrur, Muktsar, Patiala and Kapurthala. So far 12 have died. Two patients have been killed in Mohali, two in Amritsar, one in Jalandhar, one in Ropar, two in Ludhiana, one in Pathankot, one in Nawanshahar, one in Barnala and one in Hoshiarpur.
