New Delhi: In Punjab, the investigation of arms smuggling through suspected drones from Pakistan has now been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Union Home Ministry has accepted this demand of the Punjab government. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh wrote a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah for a high-level inquiry into the matter. A few days ago the Punjab Police recovered a cache of weapons from Pakistan via drone.
