Ludhiana: Many types of cases continue to come from the country, in the meantime, on the day of Holi in Ludhiana, Punjab, a big shocking case has come up, where a drunk husband strangled her wife and then escaped with his one-year-old son. The woman has been identified as 21-year-old Laxmi. As soon as the incident was received, the team of Haibowal Police Station reached the spot. The police have taken the body and are involved in the investigation of the case.

While giving the news of the case on Monday, SP Gurpreet Singh said that according to neighbors, the criminal was present in the house along with some other persons. The culprit was addicted to alcohol. He was also intoxicated at the time of the incident. On Monday, he also had a dispute with his wife about something, after which, in anger, he mercilessly strangled his wife.

Police said that the couple got married two years ago and both have a one-year-old son. It is also being said that both of them had a love marriage. After his wife's murder, the criminal escaped with his son. The police have said that they have started investigating the case and the culprit will soon be caught by the police. A similar case had also surfaced in Hardoi in the past, where a drunk alcoholic husband had beaten his wife to death with sticks. Earlier in Maharashtra too, an alcoholic husband murdered his wife because his wife refused to pay for alcohol.
