For candidates wishing to become government teachers, the School Education Department, Punjab has announced recruitment for 8,393 vacant posts of pre-primary teacher. Candidates having required qualifications and experience can apply in online mode from 01 December 2020 on the official portal educationrecruitmentboard.com. Details of vacancies, fixed educational qualifications, experience, selection criteria and other information are available in the notifications issued on the portal. After seeing the complete information, candidates can register themselves after December 01.

Important Date:
Date of commencement of application process - 1 December 2020
Closing date of application process - 21 December 2020

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should have 12th pass certificate or equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks to apply. Candidates are also required to have a minimum one-year diploma in Nursery Teacher Education Program or equivalent and a candidate must have passed 10th with a Punjabi language subject.

Age Range:
Candidates between 18 and 37 years of age will be able to apply for this recruitment, while reserved category candidates will also get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance and merit in the written examination. Candidates should file the application within the stipulated time and keep the print out of it with you.

Application fee:
To apply, unreserved category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000, while for reserved category candidates, the application fee is fixed at Rs 500 / -.
