Congress have crossed the halfway mark to form the majority by undertaking 63 seats out of 117 seats for its party. This is a great vie to all the other competitive parties, as Bharatiya Janata Party holds 30 seats, Aam Aadmi Party holds  23 seats while others have garnered only 1 seat.

As, the Punjab is the most keenly watched state because the two biggest party formed a strong alliance- Aam Aadmi Party is striving to form the government in Punjab. The election of Punjab is out of 117 seats.

As, Punjab's Akali Dal- BJP alliance, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party have fought and waiting for the final result as Punjab assembly has 117 seats and the halfway mark is 59.
