Assembly Election 2017: The counting for the assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Manipur, and Uttrakhand begins from 8 this morning. As per the exit poll, Punjab is the predicted to have given AAP a clear majority in the state while Uttar Pradesh to be heading towards a hung assembly with BJP in lead.

As the Punjab is the most keenly watched state because the two biggest party formed a strong alliance- Aam Aadmi Party is striving to form the government in Punjab. The election of Punjab is out of 117 seats.

As, Punjab's Akali Dal- BJP alliance, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party have fought and waiting for the final result as Punjab assembly has 117 seats and the halfway mark is 59.

Bharatiya Janata Party has gained a majority in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, but it is striving in the Punjab seats. Congress Party is at the top with 41 seats out of 75 seats, Aam Aadmi Party holds 20 seats, while BJP and Akali are at 14 seats.
