New Delhi: Recently big news has come from Punjab. The havoc of coronavirus in Punjab is increasing rapidly. At present, more than a thousand cases are being reported in the state in a day. Now, news has come which states that Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal has also become corona positive in Punjab. Manpreet Badal himself has given information about this through Facebook. He wrote in his Facebook post, 'I want to inform everyone that my corona investigation has come positive. I will be in Quarantine for the next few days.'

Along with this, he has appealed to the people in his contact to be vigilant. Minister wrote, 'I got myself tested before the Parliament session and then immediately after the session. Before the session, my corona report came negative. After the session, I was found positive. Whoever was in contact with me, please for you and your family's safety get tested.' For your information in some states including Maharashtra, the cases of coronavirus are increasing. Expressing concern over this, the Center has asked people to be 'careful and alert' and not to be negligent. NITI Aayog member (health) VK Paul has concerned about the situation of coronavirus in the press conference particularly in Maharashtra as 'worrisome.'
Actually, he cited the lockdown imposed in Nagpur from 15 to 21 March and said, 'We are reaching a situation where these steps have been taken again (to prevent covid-19 infection).' Warning Delhi and adjoining areas, apart from Maharashtra, Paul said, 'The infection rate is increasing in the national capital and so is Gurugram, Faridabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad.' With this, he further said, 'Be careful, be cautious. Even now large populations are at risk of becoming infected. The epidemic is not over yet.'
