Chandigarh: Senior police officer of Ludhiana district of Punjab died while fighting corona infection. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Anil Kohli was found corona infected on 13 April. On Saturday, he took his last breath in the hospital. This is the 16th death recorded from Corona in Punjab.

The Public Relations Office of Ludhiana District has said that 'Anil Kohli, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Ludhiana has died due to Corona infection. He was admitted here at SPS Hospital where he was undergoing treatment. According to sources, some people exposed to ACP have also been found to be corona infected. The ACP was to be treated in the hospital in Ludhiana by this method after the government decided to 'plasma treatment' patients of coronavirus.
