The horrific incidents of gang raped are increasing day by day. In a yet another horrific incident comes to light a woman was raped in a moving auto. The woman fight with bravery but unfortunately she was overpowered by the accused. The Punjab Police confirmed the arrest of two men involved in the rape of a nurse inside a moving autorickshaw within 12 hours of the crime. The police is receiving praises for arresting the accused.

As per the information, A nurse was sexually assaulted by two men on the midnight of Tuesday and Wednesday. The nurse boarded an autorickshaw to reach home. The accused who both in their twenties. They were the driver and the occupant of the autorickshaw. The victim saved herself from their clutches by jumping from the moving vehicle. She was picked up by the autorickshaw around 10:00 PM on Tuesday from Mohali's Kharar area. As the vehicle started moving, the two tried to overpower and rape the nurse,.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sandeep Garg speaking about the horrific incident said, "...when they were on the highway towards Kurali, the two men attempted to rape her in the moving auto. The girl fought bravely to save her but they overpowered her. We have arrested the duo and we will take them on remand to ascertain their other such crimes if any,"  The victim managed to jump from the moving autorickshaw near Rayat Bahara Hospital on the Kharar-Kurali highway.

The SSP formed multiple teams under SPs and DSPs. They were identified as Malkeet Singh (24) alias Bunty, a resident of village Radiala and Manmohan Singh (29) alias Mani, a resident of Singhpura, the daily quoted the police as saying. The driver and his accomplice were booked under sections 376, 354-A, 354-B, 342, 324, 323, 511, 506, and 34 of the IPC. As of now Police is looking into the matter and  the investigation is going on  in the case.
