Surat: Surat police in Gujarat have solved the blind murder incident. A police investigation has revealed that the girl was murdered by her own lover. In the investigation of the murder of the girl with a knife, the police could reach the culprit due to the 'T-shirt'. The culprit has been arrested. The incident took place on November 28 in the Amroli police station area of Surat city.
Surat City Joint Commissioner of Police Traffic and Crime Sharad Singhal said that the girl's body was recovered from a field near Anjani Industrial Area in the Amroli police station area. 49 stab wounds were found on her body. The crime branch of Surat police was investigating the brutal murder. The commissioner said that the woman was also questioned in the area, but the team did not get any specific information. Apart from this, the city's bus stand, railway station, and CCTV of the area were also checked. Then the T-shirt that the young woman was wearing. Based on that, the team came to know that the dead girl was Kunidas Seemadas, a resident of Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
On further investigation, it was revealed that Kunidas was having an affair with a young man named Jagannath Gowda of Bhubaneswar. Kuni wanted to marry him, due to which she repeatedly asked her boyfriend to marry him. But Jagannath did not want to get married. He then plotted to kill Kunidas to get rid of her. The criminal asked Kunidas to go to Surat. Kunidas did not think of anything and left her family and came to Surat by train with her lover. After coming here, the lover Jagannath took her to the spot in an auto on the pretext of visiting Surat. He then took Kunidas to a deserted field and killed her with a knife. stabbed her there 49 times one after the other. Then the culprit returned to Bhubaneswar. After coming here, he went back to his work. The commissioner said that the criminal boyfriend who killed his girlfriend has been arrested. He has been booked for murder under Section 302 of IPC. The interrogation is currently underway.
