Dehradun: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that there will be a contest between congress' exploits and BJP's actions in the mega festival of democracy. He attacked Congress, counting the achievements of his government. He said Congress and corruption complement each other. Addressing a press conference at a hotel near Rispana on Monday, the CM said he was confident of BJP's victory. He said that since 2014 and from 2017 to 2022, the Modi government at the Centre has sanctioned schemes worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore for Uttarakhand. Many of them have been completed. Work is going on on many. The PM gave 18,000 crore rupees, 17,5,000 crore rupees to Uttarakhand in Dehradun and Haldwani. He said that whether it is a network of roads or the distance between Delhi and Dehradun, the Central and State Governments have come together to draw a strong roadmap for development.
He also said that even though some people are trying to harass the people about the Tanakpur-Bageshwar railway line, his government has started work in this direction. With the capacity of Dehradun airport increased, new air routes were identified and flights were introduced in the State. It is going to start at many other places. The CM said his government took more than 500 decisions. Orders were issued while financially managing these decisions.
He took a dig at the Congress and said that this time there will be a contest between the congress' exploits and the work of our government. He said our party will follow all the guidelines of the Election Commission. By the Silver Jubilee year in 2025, he is definitely moving towards making Uttarakhand the best state in the country. He said whether it is Ayushman Bharat Yojana or Garib Kalyan Yojana, the BJP government has focused on extending its benefits to the extreme. The coming decade will be from Uttarakhand.
