Dehradun: Pushkar Singh Dhami was on Wednesday sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Uttarakhand Governor Gurmeet Singh. Pushkar Singh Dhami has become the 12th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. He is the first leader to become the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for the second time in a row. Pm Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President J P Nadda attended the swearing-in ceremony at the parade ground in Dehradun.
Along with Pushkar Singh Dhami, eight ministers are also taking the oath. Chandan Ram Das, Ritu Khanduri (Speaker), Satpal Maharaj, Subodh Uniyal, Rekha Arya, Ganesh Joshi, Vinod Kandari, Saurabh Bahuguna, Dhan Singh Rawat will be the ministers in the government. UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were also present to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Banshidhar Bhagat, Bishan Singh Chufal and Arvind Pandey have not received the call.
