Paris Olympics: Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has made a remarkable advance to the Round of 16 in the women's singles event at the Paris Olympics. She showcased her dominance by defeating Estonia's Kristin Kuuba with ease, securing straight-game victories of 21-5 and 21-10.

Sindhu's victory over Kuuba followed her previous win against Maldives' Fathimath Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq. In her opening match, Sindhu exhibited her prowess by defeating Razzaq 21-9, 21-6, demonstrating her determination to claim her third Olympic medal.

In the match against Kuuba, held at the La Chapelle Arena, Sindhu controlled the first game, taking it 21-5 in just 14 minutes. The second game saw her continue her strong performance, winning 21-10 in 19 minutes, wrapping up the match in a total of 34 minutes.

Sindhu's next challenge will be China's He Bingjiao, a familiar opponent whom she defeated to secure a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

In her match against Razzaq, Sindhu's dominance was evident as she restricted her opponent to single digits in both games. The first game saw Sindhu take an early lead, with the score tied at 4-4 before she went on a ten-point streak, eventually winning 21-9 in 13 minutes. The second game mirrored the first, with Sindhu quickly establishing control and winning 21-6.

Sindhu's technical skills and strategic play have been instrumental in her success so far, and she remains focused on her quest for another Olympic medal.
