Seoul: According to state media KCNA, North Korea held a ceremony on Sunday to commemorate the completion of 10,000 brand-new, contemporary homes in Pyongyang's newly constructed Hwasong District.

According to the report, the ceremony was attended by the leader Kim Jong Un, a number of senior government officials, including the premier of the cabinet, Kim Tok Hun.

The achievement comes two months after Kim broke ground on another housing project in February, which the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) dubbed "another luxurious street of socialism full of the people's happiness."
