According to the Associated Press, a Hayya card is necessary for entry into Qatar between November 1 and January 23. A Hayya card costs $27 (2,200) and entitles the holder to 90 days of multiple entries with access to the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Fans who exhibit a Hayya card and have valid tickets for a match or matches receive unique benefits. These people are entitled to free transportation on public buses, trams, and the metro, but only on match days.
