New Delhi: Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has launched a made-in-India camera drone. It's named Droni. It has many state-of-the-art features. It was created by Garuda Aerospace. The company entered the consumer drone market with the launch of Droni. Dhoni is the brand ambassador of Garuda Aerospace.

The company will provide drone services for solar panel cleaning, spraying pesticides in the field, inspection of industrial pipelines, mapping, serving, public announcement and delivery services. New Kisan drones have also been launched at the event in Chennai. It will be used in the agricultural sector, especially in spray applications. This drone runs on battery. The farmer drone can pesticides every day on 30 acres of land. In this event, Dhoni has told that his interest in farming increased during the Corona lockdown. He also stressed the utility of drones in farming. In an official statement, the company's founder and CEO Agnieswar Jayaprakash said that this product will be launched in the market by the end of 2022.   

He has further told that the Droni drone has been made in the country itself. It can be used in many things. The company wants to make the country self-reliant in the field of drones through Make in India drones. It will provide safe and secure drones to users. More than 1500 participants participated in the Global Drone Expo held in Chennai. 14 international drone companies also participated in it. Many new drones were showcased at the event.
