New Delhi [India], Apr 17 (NT): The much-awaited Salman Khan starrer, 'Bharat' is casting 'Desi girl' as its leading lady. The Bollywood cum Hollywood Quantico queen Priyanka Chopra now will be seen in 'Bharat'.

After playing a role of cop in 2016's 'Jai Gangajal' , 'Bharat' will be Priyanka's next Bollywood jaunt. Salman and Priyanka will be sharing silver screen after 10 years. Both were seen in 2008's 'God Tussi Great Ho'. The team of ‘Desi girl’ and ‘Tiger ‘will be special for movie freaks.

As per the reports of ANI , Director Ali Abbas Zafar and producer Atul Agnihotri visited to New York to meet Priyanka and gave her the narration of the film. Priyanka enjoyed the storyline and was convinced straight away to be part of the film.

The shooting of the film has already kicked off and it will next be moving to London, Spain, Poland, Portugal, and Malta.

The film will feature Khan sporting five different looks spanning 60 years, wherein a crucial part will showcase the actor in his late 20s, looking much leaner and younger.

Salman's first look - the still from his 'Karan Arjun' time - is rousing a lot of drone on the Internet.

'Bharat' is an official adaptation of 2014 Korean film, 'Ode to My Father', and is scheduled to release on Eid in 2019.
