On June 21, the film Raanjhanaa, starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor, will have been on the market for 10 years. Aanand L. Rai was the director of the 2013 release, which has now gained cult status.

A compilation video including some BTS shots of the actors and crew was produced by the film's creators in advance of its 10th anniversary. Filmmaker Aanand L Rai discussed his interaction with actor Dhanush before the movie began shooting in the BTS montage. Dhanush, who has primarily worked in Tamil films, questioned whether the director was aware that he didn't speak Hindi. Following that, Dhanush declared that he will be appearing in the film since both he and the director were prepared for it.

That’s when Rai said, "Now I have my actor, and I should start making my film." The production house released the video ahead of the film's 10th anniversary. Later on in the video, Dhanush spoke about how he was working in freezing temperatures during shoot. He said, “It was very, very cold.

It was quite cool. I would be covered in several layers. They'll arrive right before the shot and remove everything. In spite of the cold, the Atrangi Re actor continued to film the music video for the song's title tune, Raanjhanaa. Dhanush admitted, "I would be running, dancing, and jumping since the song was full of excitement. Since making his Bollywood debut, Dhanush has also appeared in the Hindi film business in Shamitabh (2015) and Atrangi Re (2021). He is currently developing his future movie Captain Miller. There are reportedly three parts to the franchise.
