Veteran actor Radha Ravi known for his tongue in cheek speeches in filmi and political events courted controversy by his statements on Nayanthara during a press meet of her upcoming film 'Kolaiyuthir Kaalam'. Radha Ravi courted controversy when he spoke ill of Nayanthara. Many celebs turned against him over the misogynic remarks and Nadigar Sangam issued a warning to the actor. Nayanthara too sent out a strong statement against the verbal attack on her.

At that time the versatile actor had then offered to meet Nayanthara and her boyfriend Vignesh Shivan at a place of their convenience and explain to them that he did not intentionally degrade the actress. However, the veteran actor doesn’t seem to have learned his lessons yet. In a recent press meet of a short film, he again took the stage and said that his family doesn’t know what fear is.  In his speech, Radha Ravi pointed out that director Perarasu had asked him not to be scared by the controversies and he said that his family does not know what fear is.

Radha Ravi stated that he is not going to apologize to Nayanthara as he has not committed any murder. He also recalled that when he spoke on that day press people applauded him and if anything was wrong in it they should have pointed it out to him, then and there.
