The fans are still pretty excited about Kanchana, which is a horror comedy. Raghava Lawrence has already impressed us in the first part of the film and now we're all set for the third film of this franchise. Raghava Lawrence and Vedhika's starrer Kanchana 3 starts off with an entertaining face-off between Raghava and a bunch of goons who report to the main antagonist. Both fight scenes are entertaining and hilarious. Although the film does take a very weird turn with Raghava openly flirting with his cousins in front of his family and no one seems to mind it.

There is this one scene where Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini, and Sriman are performing certain tasks to find out if there is really an evil spirit in the house. It's much related to the tasks they performed in the first film, too. Not to mention, Devadarshini and Kovai Sarla's equation onscreen is a pleasure to see. So far, Kanchana 3 provides the spooks and makes you laugh at the same time.

The writing comes off as very weak when it comes to Raghava's equation with Vedhika, Oviya and Nikki Tamboli. There are many clichés in the first half of the film that you cannot ignore. For example, there is one special scene in the Kanchana 3 that looks inspired from Conjuring 2. Hopefully, the second half will have Raghava in action with lots of entertainment.
