Expressing sorrow over Jaymohan's demise, Lawrence has expressed his condolences on Facebook and announced a new medical initiative. Lawrence posted that "I'm deeply saddened and heartbroken by the demise of Dr Jayamohan. My heartfelt condolences to his family. My huge respect to his humanity for putting his heart and soul in serving the people in a tribal village at Nilgiri district. I take the initiative to do medical service with the help of doctors who wish to support this and also do other services in the village with his name in the future.
