Thalapathy Vijay's film 'Master' was scheduled to be released on 9 April, but unfortunately, the coronavirus epidemic forced theatres to remain close. The last time we heard from reliable sources is that the team is planning something on Vijay's birthday on 22 June if the lockdown ends and the government grants permission.

Now the official update has come that 'Master' is going to be released in five languages along with Thalapathy Vijay's first multilingual release in his three-decade career. The update has been posted by Inox, the leading multiplex chain operator, on its official Twitter page.

Directed by Lokesh Kangraj, 'Master', the musical is given by Anirudh Ravichander. Along with Thalapathi Vijay, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andya Jeremiah, Arjun Das and Shantanu Bhagyaraj are playing important role in the film.
