Raghav Lawrence has certainly satisfied the people of Tamil Nadu by donating five crore rupees to the state's Chief Minister Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Kosh, Dancers Association, other film organizations and residents of Chennai's Royapuram. On a day to day basis, he has been posting about his philanthropic work, particularly about the health and education of many children in his orphanage. It is well known that Lawrence will next star in Chandramukhi 2, directed by P. Vasu and produced by Chandra Pictures. The film is the sequel to the 2005 film 'Chandramukhi' starring Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Jyothika, and Vadivelu and was one of the biggest hits in the history of Tamil cinema.

At various stages over the past few months, it was rumored that Simran and Jyothika would be part of the project which was rejected by both actresses. The latest news was that Kiara Advani will play the lead role in the film. Raghav has clarified on Twitter, "Many rumors are being spread about the Chandramukhi 2 female head that Jyothika, Simran or Kiara Advani may appear in the lead roles, but this is all just fake news. The script is in process, once the situation of Covid settles and the production confirms the female leadership, we will officially announce it. "

Kiara Advani is coincidentally playing role in a remake of Raghav Lawrence's 'Kanchana' in  Hindi directorial venture Laxmi Bomb, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles.
