New Delhi: The issue of an article published in the Wall Street Journal newspaper about Facebook has not settled down yet. Meanwhile, the Delhi Government's Peace Harmony Committee has said that an FIR should be lodged against Facebook for the Delhi riots. After listening to all the witnesses, the Peace Goodwill Committee of the Delhi Government has reached the decision that Facebook may play a role in the riots in Delhi. After the primary investigation, an FIR should be filed against Facebook for provoking riots.

Head of the Shanti Sadbhavna Committee, Raghav Chadha said on Monday that a meeting of the Shanti Sadbhavna Committee was called today on the Facebook issue. 3 journalists were invited to testify before the committee. Journalist Avesh Tiwari has given many evidences related to Delhi riots. Raghav Chadha said that the committee had reached the primary decision that Facebook had a hand in the Delhi riots. Facebook should be investigated as an accused. Facebook belongs to some such unrecognized media that act to spoil goodwill.

He said that the double standards of Facebook have been revealed in the investigation. In the case of Delhi riots, Facebook should be considered as an accused and a supplementary charge sheet should be filed against it. In the next meeting, Facebook officials will also be asked to appear. Some such evidence has also been found which suggests that there was a conspiracy to organize a riot in Delhi before the elections.
