Who does not know RD Burman, the singer of Bollywood's famous traditional films, he always remains in discussions due to his songs. At the same time, his birthday is celebrated by remembering him on 27 June. At the same time, the deeds of Pancham da made the difference in the world of traditional film music. For more than three decades, Rahul Dev Burman captivated everyone with the sounds of Hindustani and Western instruments.

On hearing Pancham da's name, it emerges in the mind, which seems very simple from the appearance, but which is related to the royal family. A son who has been a son since childhood and is ready to give his company at every behest of his virtuous father. Sachin Dev Burman, father of Rahul Dev Burman aka Pancham Da, was the heartthrob of Indian cinema. He was as good a music composer as he was a singer. Rahul starts off as an ally of his father and gradually builds his position which sets him apart from his contemporaries in many ways.

Pancham Da had a very intimate relationship with lyricist Gulshan Bawra. Gulshan often talked about his and Pancham's friendship. Both were home in such a way that despite the distance, they used to talk in gestures. If needed, Rahul would call Gulshan home. Then Bawra would have his pen and thoughts and would sit with the fifth harmonium. Thus the pair gave many memorable songs to Hindi cinema. Films like 'Agar tum na hote', 'Satte pe satti', 'Sanam teri kasam', 'Yeh vada raha', 'Khel khel mein' etc. can be remembered in this context.
