New Delhi: Former captain of Team India and famous as 'The Wall', Rahul Dravid is known for his batting. Dravid is currently playing the role of director of the National Cricket Academy. Dravid, who has coached the Indian U-19 and India A teams, is now ready to train the youth of 16 countries. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided to invite 16 young players from India to train in India.

On 19 April 2018, at the Commonwealth meeting by the Government of India in London, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that a training camp for boys and girls from 16 countries was announced. Modi said in London that training of young boys and girls from 16 countries will be arranged in India. All those players will get a chance to train in the best facility in India with the best players from India. All these players will be trained under the supervision of Rahul Dravid, working as the Chief of NCA.

The camp will be held in Bengaluru from October 1 to October 30 next year. After this announcement by PM Modi, the BCCI has chosen 18 boys and 17 girls from the Ministry of External Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs, taking the initiative in this matter. These players from 16 countries include country names like Bostwana, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambiqueu, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Malaysia, Singapore, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Fuji and Tanzania.
