Coronavirus has created a furore in India and it has had a huge impact on Indian cricket as well. Due to the havoc of covid-19, all kinds of cricket activity is banned in India today. Although some nations have allowed their cricketers to train, but the Indian Board has not yet taken any such decision. In the midst of all this, former captain of Team India and Chief of the National Cricket Academy, Rahul Dravid has expressed his opinion about the restoration of cricket in India. According to Dravid, circumstances in India are not such that cricket can be restarted. While talking to a magazine, Dravid said, 'I don't think that we are in a position to resume cricket now. It is better that we keep restraint and wait.

At the same time, he said that we will have to review it month after month. We have to see all the options. If the domestic season starts in October, which usually starts in August-September, then it will have to be seen whether this season will be shortened. 'Dravid said further' yet everything is uncertain. How much cricket will be played and how to make the event possible depends on the guidelines of the government and medical experts. The busiest time for us at NCA is from April to June. During this period, zonal, under-16, under-19, under-23 camps are organized. We will have to prepare the plans again. I hope we will not lose a lot in our cricket season and we will get to see some cricket this year. '

Since Dravid is the director of NCA, when he was asked whether the players would be allowed to train in NCA, he responded in this way. Dravid said, 'NCA will probably open for some local cricketers in the beginning. Those coming from elsewhere have to be quarantined for the first 14 days. We have to consider how much it is possible.
