Earlier on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi had asked for Satyapal Malik's visit to Kashmir and said that he would accompany opposition leaders to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. In fact, Rahul Gandhi said that violence was taking place in the state after Article 370 was withdrawn and Governor Satyapal Malik had invited him to come there.
