New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has wished the people of the country on the occasion of Chhath Puja. Along with this, he has also explained the special importance of Chhath Puja to the people. In a tweet on Friday, the Congress leader wrote that a Chhath Pooja shows the importance of both rising and setting sun. Heartiest greetings to everyone on Chhath festival.

President Ramnath Kovind has also greeted the people of Chhath Puja. President Kovind has urged people to celebrate the festival keeping in mind the corona epidemic during Chhath festival.

President wrote, "Greetings and good wishes to fellow citizens on Chhath Pooja. Let this Chhath Pooja be an occasion to express our devotion to Sun God, Mother Earth and rivers. May this festival bring happiness to everyone’s life and inspire us to respect the nature more."Along with this, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also wished people Chhath Puja.
