New Delhi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has urged the people of the country to unite and raise their voice in the defense of democracy. In a tweet, Rahul wrote that let's unite in democracy and raise our voice to protect democracy. He has used the hashtag #SpeakUpForDemocracy for this. Rahul has also posted a video related to this on his Twitter handle.

In #SpeakUpForDemocracy, Rahul Gandhi has focused on the political struggle of Rajasthan and alleged that due to money power, there is an attempt to destabilize Congress government there. Two days ago, he has made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), tweeting on the Rajasthan case. In a tweet on Friday, Rahul Gandhi wrote, 'The country is ruled by the Constitution and the law. Governments are formed and run by the majority of the people. The BJP conspiracy to topple the Rajasthan government is clear. This is an insult to the 8 crore people of Rajasthan. The Governor should call a session of the Legislative Assembly so that the truth comes before the country.'

A day earlier on Saturday, Rahul accused the Modi government of the Center of the Coronavirus disaster and making profits in it, saying that the lockdown was earned by charging rail fares from migrant workers. On this matter, he wrote in a tweet, "There are 'clouds' of disease, people are in trouble, and the poor anti-government is earning by turning disaster into profit."
