On the last day of High –voltage election campaign Congress President Rahul Gandhi and CM Siddaramaiah addressed a press conference in Bangalore.

Rahul Gandhi said that Congress wants the votes of OBC community but they did not allow OBC Commission to get constitutional status.

Rahul Gandhi asserted on BJP's manifesto"I have been travelling around Karnataka for few months now, we all stood together and fought the campaign on fundamental issues. We have prepared a manifesto which is truly the voice of the people. Opposition has restricted itself to making personal remarks. We are confident of winning the elections."

Rahul Gandhi also uttered on  'Hinduism'  as asserting "The term 'Hindu' is a perspective. It is a viewpoint. There is a difference between helping a community empower itself and crushing them. The BJP is crushing the minorities. Congress believes in helping people empower themselves."

He also attacked BJP on his Temple run and said, "People in our country have different religious beliefs and different linguistic beliefs, and as a leader, it is my duty to stand with them in their beliefs. I have been visiting mosques and temples and gurdwaras alike."
