NEW DELHI: In a show of solidarity with the farmers, Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Congress party, took the wheel of a tractor on a sunny morning in Sonipat. Rahul was on his way to Shimla from Delhi when he seized the opportunity to connect with the farming community in various villages of Baroda.

Embracing the sowing process, Rahul joined the diligent farmers as they toiled on the fertile farmlands of Baroda and Madina. His commitment to the cause of rural India has been evident throughout his "Bharat Jodo Yatra," where he has dedicated himself to engaging with individuals from diverse walks of life.

The significance of this act resonates with previous instances where Rahul Gandhi actively participated in grassroots movements. During the lead-up to the Karnataka polls, he took the time to interact with gig workers in Bengaluru, attentively listening to their aspirations and concerns. Moreover, in 2021, he made a powerful statement by driving a tractor to the Parliament gate, lending his voice to the nationwide protest against the now-defunct and controversial farm laws.

Rahul Gandhi's unwavering commitment to the welfare of farmers and his hands-on approach in understanding their challenges underscore his dedication to bringing about positive change. By riding a tractor in Sonipa, he symbolizes his firm belief in the power of unity and his resolute support for the farming community.
